she nodded, as the shell bumped her paw "Careful.." she whispered, as she blinked, looking from the shell to Him "This sea shell is so unique,,, Been in my family for moons- A burden more or less..... Bad luck.... THe edge is sharp.. I always cut myself when i try to touch it. Cat you cast it into the water for me? I just... It bothers me.." she muttrered

Stormcrash blinked. "Just throw it in the wateR? He stammered a bit confused. WHy would she want to be rid of somthing so unique looking? The markings on the shell reminded him of the pattern along his leaders flake. He shivered, thinking of how odd that was indeed.

"Just.. do it!" she hissed "Come on.. I dont want to see that anymore... It bothers me." she nudged it towards him "For me?" she whispered "Please.. you dont understand how much of a burden it has been to me...."

[When it Rains it Poors]

The night sky opened up to a light drizzle that rained down onto the clearing of Tempestclan, the grpass was home to a few small puddles. The tall shape of a she-cat emerged from the warriors den, her fur was matted down from the rasps of her tongue on her fresh groom, her russet colored patches looking darker then usual from the amount of rain that attached itself onto her fur. Russetspots the Tempestclan deputy flicked her distinctive sea blue eyes across the clearing ,softly blinking as she took in a few gazes. Her attention moving over to her noble leader,a polite smile trickled over her face at the sight of Labryrinthstar. Her small paws trotted to wards her leader, as she ppassed by the large open clearing maneuvering over to the other side. "Hello Labryinthstar." Russetspots purred, the she-cat sat down keeping a proper composure, neatly wrapping her damp fluffed tail around her petite body.

Labyrinthstar nodded, her attention leaving Coastwing. She hoped her and her deputy where on the same page about spying on the other clan- with a possible invasion. It was of the utmost importance that they where on the same page about this "I was... just about to ask if you would patrol the borders here to 'check things out' when it gets dark" she chuckled, eyes on her Deputy's expression. Her whiskers twitched, making her look slightly insane as she blinked her deepest blue eyes "In fact... You should head off soon.. perhaps i shall accompany you as well"

The polite soft smile that took place across Russetspots face was slowly fading to nothing at hearing her leaders words emerge from her mouth. "Sounds .. Fun."Russetspots mewed while her head slowly nodded in agreement, of course she'd do anything her leader ordered, and who didn't like to be sneaky? She thought to herself in silence for a few moments. "Of course I'd love to go on a little moonhigh patrol with you." Russetspots smirked through her light chuckle that came after her words.

Stormcrash gave a side glance at Russetspots. His yellow eyes aglow with interest. He Threw the shell into the water as instructed, but for some reason watched to see exactly where it fell. He had a feeling he would need it later.. he just didnt know why. "So when are we leaving? he asked.

She blinked, as she took in both of their words "I have to think about when to leave.." she started speaking to Stormcrash, before turning to Russetspots and smirking in return "Now, we should probbaly leave the moment that storm starts moving in. The other clans shall probably be in their dens riding it out there..."

Stormcrash nodded, that was true, the storm would deffinatly be big enough to hit all four clans. He wondered secretly why his leader wanted to know how the other clans were doing. "Sounds good, I think most of our camp is secure" He flicked his tail as he glanced around to see all the dens being re-enforced and his fellow clanmates moving about branches and bramble to block off places that usually flooded.

OwlCreek padded out of his den growling, he spotted the leader and padded over. "LabyrinthStar, im getting aching joints because those pesky apprentices are bringing back wet moss!" His voice sharp, and the toms gaze burnt through the leaders fur like the hot amber sun of Green-Leaf.

Labyrinthstar nodded, smile on her face "Yes, yes of course. Owlcreek, why dont you just sleep with the apprentices? Their den usually stays dry... It is not the gathering of the moss that makes them wet.... " she rolled her eyes "therre is practically an inch of water in half of your den!"

"Well my eyes see clearly well!" He hissed, not believing one word of his Leader. "The apprentices will probably keep me up, rolling about all night.. Its cold in there anyway." He gave his eyes to the apprentice den, snarling.

Skyfrost padded into the clearing her silver tabby pelt wet. Her fur wasn't short nor long, it was between. She shined her blue-purple eyes over the cats around her and sighed, "i wish these storms would back off for a moon or two. I haven't lived a dawn here without seeing storm clouds." ///// Gorgefire followed her into the clearing, "Thats all i want right now, clear weather." He stopped and sat down, lapping his tongue over his very thick long tabby fur. His main color was brown while his stripes varied from dark brown to black.
