"Yes... Yes of course.." she whispered, as she went into deep thought about his words. After a moment, she noticed the setting sun "You wouldnt happen to mind if i stayed here with you for a while? Perhaps you are in a shortage of herbs or.. something?" she whispered "is there anything....." she couldnt finish the sentence Of COURSE he wants something, you babbling mousebrain! she thought to herself way to embaress yourself!

Saffronstar was deep inside the cave, though he could still hear the Tempestclan Leader mewing outside. He rolled his eyes and shook his head, his golden fur growing darker in the shadows. The narrow pathway toward the chamber where the Stom Stone stood was poorly lit. He had to rely on his whiskers to mark where the walls were.
"If your staying with me, then i'm staying in here" He mewed irritably from inside the darkness. He was growing impatient with how desperate the shecat was to gain some sort of truce with him. Tempestclan must be worse off than squallclan! he thought mockingly. She spoke of needing herbs and supplies, but all he needed was fresh kill, and since she could not provide him with that, her bargaining options were rather pathetic.

She followed him into the caves, her eagerness to catch up making her smash into the wall quite a few times before running straight into the back of Saffronstar, and falling back "S-Sorry, Saffron!" she muttered, her voice was soft, but echoed around the silence like thunder booming in a silent forest. She knew that doing what she had would not help her chances to help her clan- they may even destroy them in total

Saffronstar gave a low growl but didnt answer yet. He could see a shimmer of light around the corner and knew it was the Storm Stone. His hues began to get smaller as the light grew stronger. He rounded the last bend and posed a moment to take in its beauty. The stone was very tall with cracks going down along its sides. It was the cracks that emitted light reflected off the moon. "I'm in awe everytime I come here" He whispered to himself. The beauty seemed to not fade with times seen. He moved closer and layed down next to the stone. He looked over at Labyrinthstar to see if she had anything to say before he pressed his nose to it and slept.

She herself did not approach the stone- Just sat there staring at Saffronstars form. Her anscestors- the stars. the ones she trusted.. they had betrayed her clan. Starved them to the point of death. She did not want to hear the excuses that would come if she let them in. No- she would not allow them to tell her what to do in these difficult times. Of that she was sure.

Saffronstar staired at her curiously for a moment before pressing his nose into the stone and closing his eyes to greet starclan....

Saffronstar gave a yowl of terror and pain as his eyes shot open and were met with darkness. He blinked, looking around the Stormcave. His eyes quckly readjusted to the darkness and his wide eyes settled on Labrynthstar. He didnt mew a word.

Labyrinthstar's eyes where wide, as she sprang up. She had just been about to finally doze off. "what is it!?" she asked, fear and cutiousity mixed as the words fell over her tongue. They left her mouth too quickly. What had he seen? What was going to happen to her clan.. to his clan.... to the entire coast.....?
