SplottLeaf leaped into the clearing, her fur gleaming in the sunlight. She stretched her hind legs along the floor letting out a yawn whilst doing so. "Where is everyone?" She grumbled, her sharp tone raising.

Butterflynose heard the medicine cat in the clearing and emerged from the nursery. "These kits are driving me crazy!" She purred as her three little balls of fur burst out from the nursery and began rolling about in the dust. She looked over at the Medicine cat. "How are you today? she asked kindly.

Wolfmoon saw the queen with her kits and began to purr loudly as she felt herself drawn over to visit with them. "Hello little ones!" She exclaimed with a sweet smile. She began to dance the end of her tail about for them to play with.

SplottLeaf saw ButterflyNose and purred; "Good, kits are always a pain." Humour glittering in her eyes though she knew that medicine cats could never have kits of there own or even a mate. "Ive had a busy week with all these injuries." She grumbled in a low voice. "But its been fun seeing all the other cats in the clan."

Butterflynose nodded taking a glance around at how messy the camp was after the recent storms. It seemed no sooner did they start picking up, another storm was blowing in. "It has to be hard taking care of sick and injered cats, I dont think i could ever be that responsible." She narrowed her eyes at how funny that statement sounded, though she meant it as a complement. She was too free spirited to have everyone depend on her, she had a hard enough time with just three little kits needing her all the time.

SplottLeaf tryed to let out a smile but her body was too limp and exhausted to do that. She shuffled over to the fresh kill pile and moved back to her spot still looking at ButterflyNose. Her energy was given back once she ate her prey; "I see..." She meowed, thinking of the three little kits and she just chuckiled.

Lionjaw came into the clearing carrying a large vole he'd managed to come across. He narrowed his eyes, thinking to himself, before padding over to the others and tossing his kill at their feet. "Here, Butterflynose, this should be enough for you and your kits to get a bit of prey." He mewed. He sat his large golden body down and glanced around at the others.

SplottLeaf looked at the warriors then back at the Queen. She shrugged and kept eating the prey she had her belly becoming full again. "Hello LionJaw." She mewed slowly crunching on her last peice of squirrel

Butterflynose blinked in thanks and called her three kits over to eat the vole. She wanted to make sure they got the bulk of the food. "Where did you manage to find such a huge vole in this famen?" she praised watching the three kits dig in.
Bumblekit gave a playful squeel and pounced on the vole, raking his back claws into it and biting on its ear.
"Bumblekit, thats not a toy! Eat please, and let Widdowkit and Mothkit have some too!" She looked up at the warrior and the medicine cat and shook her head. Kits! she thought with a low purr.

Wolfmoon eyed her brother warrily, her expression changing. Lionjaw had been avoiding her lately, and she didnt like it. She made sure to keep herself in the conversation, but for now she decided to just watch, her eyes still brightly watching the kits as they play-ate their vole.
Lionjaw sat up a little taller, enjoying his clanmates praise. "I stumbled uppon it. Lucky find I guess" He said with glowing amber eyes. He felt a little annoyed that the kit was playing with his excelent catch instead of eating it, but he bit his tongue and looked up at the older shecats, the company that interested him far more then pesky kits. "Splottleaf, how are you?" he asked in a smooth voice, his amber eyes soft. He never understood the reason why medicine cats couldnt be queens, after all she was a shecat! He pretended to enjoy the kits company by playfully batting his paw at bumblekit's tail, though his heart and attention was still fully focused on the queen and the medicine cat... compleatly ignoring his sister.

SplottLeaf followed both of there gazes but meowed; "Im alright, still alittle abit busy with all this fighting and accidents." Grumbiling slightly, but her eyes gave off a gentle gaze. As always this Medicine Cat had a sweet scent following her everywhere aswell as her soft fur and gentle voice.
LilySplash leaped into the clearing with CloverPaw at her tail. "Hello SplottLeaf, do you mind if we have something to stop bleeding and infections please? CloverPaw has had a little accident with thorn." Glaring over to her apprentice but smirking slightly.
"Lucky you I have Cobwebs and Chervile Root right here when I went out to get them!" She replied; smiling. SplottLeaf nudged them towards her sister, looking over to CloverPaw at that moment, emerald glittering in her eyes.
"Its still hurts!" CloverPaw whined, flicking her tail impatiently. She padded over to the Cobwebs and Chervile root, placing them on her pad with the thorn in it. The bleeding stopped quickly and the apprentice tweaked her ears happily. "Thank you!"
The apprentice and warrior came to sat beside SplottLeaf, eating a piece of fresh kill. "Anyway, LionJaw any good news?" She purred atleast hoping for something to be good in the clan for once.

"Its supposed to hurt mousebrain! That means its healing" Smashpaw purred loudly as he poked his nose through the cats to check on his injured denmate. His black and white fur fluffed out to try and mask the cold wind on his pelt. His amber eyes beamed in laughter.
Butterflynose nodded to the others as they came about. It was nice to see everyone getting along and talking like nothing was wrong. She held her gaze a moment on her kits a moment. "Clean your paws Widdowkit, Bumblekit stop attacking your sisters tail!" She shook her head in the 'why me' way.

CloverPaw certainly didn't like being laughed at, so she growled. "Oh shut up!" The she-cats eyes widened and she regretted saying what she said as her ears flattened; a thorn had pierced heart. "No.. Im sorry SmashPaw..." CloverPaw mewed in a kit like voice, frowning.
Even LilySplash the she-cats apprentice looked surprised. "That was the right thing to do.." She murmured into CloverPaws ear. "Anyway, im going to have kits soon!" She announced proudly.
"Your having kits, how delightful!" But all that was in SplottLeafs now was the pain of not having an kits follow after her. She drooped her head at that point, but looked up to try and show the best smile she could..
